I have worked with the grower and winemaker to produce these excellent wines.   I experimented with various blends before the wine maker and I agreed that we had achieved an elegant wine for drinking now or in later years.   It has been matured for 12 months in French oak.   The only embarrassment I have is that the wine doesn’t have overtones of possum poo or used pipe tobacco and BBQ’d blackberries  –  it tastes like very well blended shiraz grapes grown in a cold climate.
